What is Urban Dor?

Urban Dor is for Jews 21 to 39 who are looking for events in the Greater Hartford Jewish community. 

 

What does Urban Dor mean?

The word “Dor” (with one O) has a double meaning; it’s both an opportunity for things to do (think: open door) and in Hebrew it means generation. Urban Dor has opportunities for you to make new friends, experience what the Jewish community has to offer you, and connect to your Jewish roots through cultural events.

Who runs the events?

Urban Dor partners with community organizations, synagogues, and local venues to bring events to you. Events are run in partnership with Urban Dor.

Do I have to live in Hartford?

Nope, you can live anywhere really. Though, the further away you live the harder it is to get to our events - so we suggest not living "too" far away. We welcome people from all states.
